I love my office. I love its clutter. I tried to take a panoramic-but was unsuccessful in blending the photos--my office is a mere 8 X 8 cube and I have covered every surface with the noise of my brain--I took about 10 photos in a 360 degree exploration of this tiny space and I was worried that documentation of my own personal disarray would stress me out-but oddly it had the opposite effect-I was comforted by the proof of my own noise. A sense that this one space of all of my spaces is completely my own. There is no blending of the personalities of my family, no need to share, simply a place for me to work--and this one place is a hodge-podge of all the different aspects of my life, scientist, mother, wife, poet, doodler, and photographer. I have sprinkled a small piece of myself on every surface--and yes it is time to perhaps clear a bit of clutter.
