I am behind in posting pictures. Honestly I am behind in all things. The last couple of days work has been crazy and my photos were more of last-minute opportunity than careful consideration of subject matter. I also took them on the go--with my point and shoot. Which always leaves me a bit unhappy. The first photo I took waiting for the train--in freezing weather--I found myself watching a flock of black birds, alternate between the lone tree admist the concrete and the train wires. It was so cold, I thought to myself that these birds picked poorly when flying south for the winter--they seemed to huddle into the wind that tunnels through downtown--as if they were looking for respite. If you look closely I believe you can count 7 birds--seconds before there were nearly 20. I ran out of time on the platform--as like the birds--I was simply looking for a warm path home.
